Children's Ministry
As a church that loves children, the goal of Calvary Chapel San Jacinto Children's Ministry is to minister to the needs of each child whom God brings us and to lead that child into a closer, more productive, and fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ. Our well-rounded age appropriate curriculum and activities are geared to minister to the needs of the children you entrust to us. The Children's Ministry also has several events throughout the year that allow us to reach out to children in our community. These events include, Vacation Bible School, Resurrection Breakfast, Hallelujah Night, Happy Birthday Jesus, as well as other special events that give us an opportunity to reach out to our community and show them the love of Jesus Christ.
MOTHER'S ROOM: We provide a soundproof, private room for nursing mothers who desire to hear and observe services in progress in the Main Sanctuary. Located at the back of the Main Sanctuary, accessed through the nursery, the Mother's Room is reserved for nursing mothers and their infants. Husbands and siblings are not permitted in the Mother's Room.
NURSERY CARE: We provide a warm, clean, nurturing, and safe environment for infants up to two years old. This allows parents to enjoy the adult services available here at CCSJ with the security of knowing that their little ones are safe and are being well cared for. For added comfort and security we have taken extra measures to ensure the safety of the children you entrust to our care. When you sign your child into the nursery, walkers, or 2 year old rooms you are given a pager so we can contact you in case the need arises. Also we have cameras in each of these classes that run during service times for added security. These measures are taken to make sure the children are safe and to give you added comfort so that you are able to be ministered to knowing that your children are being well cared for.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: We are dedicated to teaming with you to teach your children the word or God and draw them into a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To achieve that we provide age appropiate curriculum and activities for children ages 2 years old through the 6th grade. We also give you the tools to continue that work at home. When your pick your child up from class there are parent sheets that are available for you to take home and to continue to reinforce the lesson that your child has been taught that day in class. Remember we only have your children for one and a half hours a week and they are being exposed to the world the rest of the time, so we encourage you to take advantage of tools that we provide you in these parent sheets.
